WITNESS THE EVOLUTION OF A MOTORSPORT legend TO HYPEBEAST FAN FAVOURITE

The HWA AG, founded in 1998 by Hans Werner Aufrecht‚ co-founder of AMG and the DTM series, has been a prominent name in high-performance vehicles and motorsport engineering. Introducing the new HWA EVO, a reinterpretation of the Mercedes-Benz 190E Evo 2, we helped to tell HWA’s rich DTM legacy and bring it closer to the new generation of historic luxury car fans.

Based on our research into contemporary car culture, we established a visual identity and brand strategy, that spans diverse communication tools, such as press booklets, sales brochures, social media content, fan merchandise, exhibition design and 3D visualisations.

For high-profile events like the Goodwood Festival of Speed, we leveraged our expertise in spatial design to create a modular presentation platform for the HWA EVO. We promoted it through innovative teaser content for social media and our LEGACY PAPER, an official brand paper available on site at a custom newsstand. The result? Not only did fans and the press such as Hypebeast & TopGear love it, but the first supercar sold just two weeks later at Sotheby’s Tegernsee Auction for €1.31 million.
