FROM MAX SIEDENTOPF’S STOCK IM ARSCH, TO zara Pfeiffer’s SHARING HAPPINESS

Since 2017, g—k (Galerie Kernweine) is our physical and digital playground at the vanguard of contemporary photography and visual media. Through collaborations with an international Creative Collective, we have worked with local talents and established world artists. Together we have developed genre-defying exhibitions, thought-provoking workshops, and immersive pop-up events, that reflect the ever-evolving realities around us.

Our projects span a wide range of cultural, artistic and political themes. From the topic of migration through the documentary lens of Olgaç Bozalp, to diving into digital culture like blockchain and NFTs, g—k has established a social hub for community-building across different generations and backgrounds. We’ve facilitated important conversations on the future of Europe with voices from the next Gen, championed queer diversity with Slava Mogutin’s first German solo exhibition, and confronted the public by remastering 31 abandoned memory cards, sourced from eBay. We even showcased the three-time winning Porsche Le Mans Hattrick 919 Hybrid, parked as a central art piece in our gallery-turned-into-art garage.

In an interesting interplay between artists, brands and culture, our work with g—k has been featured in renowned culture publications such as Numéro Berlin, AnOther, and Monopol Magazine.
